Hi, guys!
Has anybody heard of a new ukrainian antivirus UNA? It's said to be very good at detecting troyans, other worms and viruses. Also it's appropriate for commercial use. What do you think if it's possible to invest in Ukrainian IT ( and in UNA as well) to raise your money.

Here is a link where you can find lots of info http://www.valuedventure.com/index.php?cmd=mainfacts&action=3

Any thought on this topic i appreciate

In my experience, most anti-virus software (even if regularly updated) is only really good for a short while after release. However, its certainly a good area for investment, as people seem to have finally started taking notice of the fact that most computers are swamped with malware. The site claims a lot, certainly worth looking into.

Hi all and Didi!
The whole company was more interesting than only one it's theme - UNA.
I haven't seen such Ukrainian partnerships before clicking your link, Didi.
Now I have an opinion that this company represents all IT-investment branch in Ukraine. It's new and hopeful - and interesting! So I think it's possible to invest... Concrete conditions of investing are needed now.

But why do you thing that such AVPs are good only for a short while? Day by day their data-bases are being updated and they are improving greatly.

The IT sector in all former Soviet states is growing rapidly, we moved into Estonia 6 years ago and enjoyed good growth and have now invested in Latvia & Lithuainia. We are also looking at Ukraine and Moldova for future investment.

I myself am based in Estonia with my partner being based in the UK. It's an interesting part of the world with great tax benefits :D

Hi again!
I have a question here. How can I be sure that my money in case of investing will be protected? I do not mean insurance and conditions of contract with company-receiver. It's too risky, especially via internet![/q

it' not an investment via i-net. As a rule you contact a particular company and discuss over all the terms of money transfer.

Contacting with a particular company doesn't give believable information.
Forums are the most proper source of such knowledge. It's because company will always follow it's own interests (everything looks very attractive - it's silly to believe to a manager) but here we can communicate with indifferent people. That's why we all gather on forum...

i agree with you up to ta certain extent. Here are gathered very smart people that can share with you their opinion and experience.
