Am I the only one that thinks that employment questions should not be asked on the forum by people that are not in business.
This is supposed to be a business forum not an employment advice centre
In reality to you would have to be a complete dumb ass to try to gain employment advice from a business forum . .

I think you are wrong. Every employee has, by definition, an employer who is almost certainly in business. advising an employee about the way their employer has acted and what can be done to deal with what has been done wrong is also advice to other employers.

But I can't offer advice except in answer to an issue, and the employed person's issue is also their employer's issue.

it does strike me as a bit odd that people will join this forum to ask about their redundancy questions. I think something is wrong with the way they use google, may be search for "sacked from business, forum" "business owner fired me advice" or something along those lines.

My bias would always be towards the employer, but only by a little bit. I have been an employee and employer so I understand both POV.
