I had 20 years as a civil servant until my department got privatised and I decided I wanted out and took my redundancy. With the money I was heading for the pub trade but its dying, anyways, a local shop just up from a school had been closed a while and seeing a business opportunity I made a few enquiries and although closed for a while it turned out the lease was just ending, so I requested details (Mid November) after many phone calls and emails I finally got rent details and a viewing of the premises last week.
Is that an average timescale or am I just being impatient?
Now I am waiting for the lease to arrive to look over.
But wanting to get on I started pricing some equipment and got a fair price from a supplier, the spend amount was just under 3k. I was advised Thursday I would get a call from sales to take payment details, to date no call. Again am I being impatient?
Perhaps I am being a bit naïve thinking turn around should be immediate.
