After years off using primarily British based staff I finally relented and starting using a Latvian.
I have to say that | have been blown away by their attitude and all round work-rate.
I am now looking into other possibilities as they go back to Latvia on a semi regular basis and would be interested in exploring what can be achieved in this regard.
For example a friend of mine put out a limited print run foodie style magazine called Rotten Apples. He shopped around extensively to get a price. He eventually settled on a welsh printer who managed to beat the next best quote by £600.00. On querying the price he discovered the reason it was so cheap was that the print had been outsourced to a company based in Lithuania. He was initially very sceptical about what the print standard was going to be like but the welsh based printer assured him that the final print quality would be fine and he had no concerns as he had been doing it for years. Sure enough when the magazine finally arrived my mate was blown away by the finished product.
So in short I would be interested in finding out if anybody would like anything like this sourced from Latvia as I have someone going over in early October.
