Given the economic climate and the fact that hailstorm that seems to be around in a wonderful attempt to banish the idea of running your own business away from any budding entreprenuer seems to have evadaed me. Even more so in the fact that the restuarant business is my preferred choice. And yes, I've heard the myths, rumours and legends about how its likely to fail and that. So let's get that out of the way before I get a plethora of replies stating "I wouldn't open up a restuarant right now, your insane."
I've been burried neck deep in the business plan, researching it, reviewing it, and starting all over again since later October last year. Truth be told the business plan is still being modified and tweaked as of yesterday but as a whole its falling into place. That has been made a lot more difficult by the fact that the ideal premises has yet to be found and including 25 extra seats in the plan, that we may not have, can amount to easily over £600k of misguided financial projections.
Anyway, enough of the background story, just wanted to hear from anyone in the industry what your views are and any tips on something that could so easily be overlooked within this industry?
