Our Freight Forwarder changed the invoice amount from our agreed quote. They did not mention it and was only made aware of it when the invoice came through. I queried the difference between the agreed amount and the billed amount and they said that the quotes desk made an error in the calculation of the EXW charges.
Their was no change in the freight characteristics and they have not incurred any additional costs. It was just a miscalculation by one of their staff.
Should I be liable for their miscalculation?
