Hi,
Could anyone explain to me a little about sponsored links? My adwords ad is appearing on the right hand side of the search and is at the top position.

Why is it that that there are 1 or 2 sponsored links on the left side along with all the search results?

Any advice will be most appreciated.

Thanks

WIth Adwords, and this is putting it briefly, if you agree to spend lots of money, pays lots of money per click, and have a well written add that will get lots of clicks, then Google will show it at the top of the normal search results.
If you don't have a high budget, don't have a high Max Cost Per Click, and don't get many clicks on your ad, then they don't show it in a high profile position.

Have a chat with Top-Click here who may be able to rejig your campaign for you.

    Hi - Cheers Ozzy, Hunny,

Essentially Ozzy is right, there are definate benefits to spending more, writing great copy and high click through rates - but it goes alittle further. I have a couple of clients who 'blue bar' (blue sponsored links across the top) yet still only spend 4ppc.

Hunny, I'll get in have a look and get you sorted - shout mne with any other issues,
