What we did not take into account back in 2016 was whether we had a govt and civil service that were up to the task of governing without the EU. In large parts it would appear not.
Don’t worry, with the de industrialisation of Germany well underway, soon the EU will collapse. Then some sense will prevail. The UK will not be immune from the problems and I take no heart from seeing proud Nations looking into a bleak future. Best to concentrate on ourselves and learn to have faith in our own abilities.
