Ok so this has just proved what I've been thinking for the last 3 months, I'm stupidly underpricing for my monthly SEO for bigger firms.

When you're selling anything with quantities attached such as X of Y links for £Z then you can't really charge that much because it's easy to look around and see others charging less.

If you were to say "hey look I got this site from nowhere to here, from £0 revenue to £5-10-20k pm and growing at 5-10% per month" then it's easier to charge a bit more.

Absolutely - IMO a huge part of SEO is managing *risk*.

There are various checks and balances that need to be considered to ensure best result with least risk, and this is a major advantage experienced SEO's have.

Too many people are willing to rush into "cheap" services offering "x links" thinking they are getting a good deal - but it's never a good deal if you get canned from the Google index for spamming.
