Recommendation for new PC

I am looking for a new PC for home use. I don't need a monitor, keyboard or mouse. Already have a digital monitor.

Currently have a Dell Dimension 8300, but it is now old technology

Really want it to use Pinnacle to make videos of my new grandson so need firewire.

Any suggestions as to spec that I need and where I should go to get it?

How good is you computer knowledge? You could build a computer yourself, saving you a lot, and allowing you to build a pretty high spec systems for a fraction of buying a similar system from a big named brand.

What sort of support do you want? I've never had an issue to complain about Dell. Next day on site is amazing, and they know what they are doing.

You can get a good base unit from them cheap
