Hello

I was in my previous job for over a decade and decided to leave as i needed a change. I've been in my current job for 4 months but have decided to leave because it's just not the right working culture for me.

I'm going to start applying for new jobs soon but my question is what reason could i give me prospective employer for leaving after such a short space of time.

Thanks in advance.

If you're asked that question then do not focus on why are you are leaving. Recruiters don't want to hear, "I don't like the manager". "They don't sign off my holiday requests", "The culture is wrong".
You need to show a real appetite for the role you are applying for.

I'm sure you didn't envisage leaving your current role after 4 months however when *this* position became available, you didn't want to pass it up.
    Say that.
