Hi,

I own a couple of businesses in and around chesterfield, Derbyshire. One of which is a hardsurface cleaning business which i started about 2 years ago. At the moment i do domestic drive cleaning & patio cleaning and the occasional commercial (chesterfield college for 1).

I am looking to move business in to cleaning beer gardens, cleaning the patio area, gum removal & outdoor funriture cleaning on a contract basis ( 1 clean per month ). making the area clean and smell nice.

What i am asking is how would i be best to start this type of business i.e marketing wise, getting landlords etc to spend there hard earned money,

would this service be an asset to businesses and to there customers?

Thanks all.

Ben :)

Hi Ben,

Theres a nightclub that is local to me with a smoking area that is directly on a very busy public walkway. This club is chocker every night so you can imagine the smashed glass, fag ends etc that are left the morning after.

Basically a lot of people started complaining and they now employ cleaners to come in at shutting up time. Other pubs/clubs have seen this and are now jumping on the bandwagon

The net result is that they have shown the public that they care for their local environment and for those that use the public highways in the day time etc . They received a lot of free PR over this so perhaps you could reverse market it to them that way?
