Hello,

Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a company to go with to take product photos? I urgently need some done and am ideally looking for someone/a company in London i can take the items to (approx 20 in total) within 24 hours and have them ready shortly after.

All recommendations welcome!

Thank you

What type of products do you sell?

if you have a high turnaround of stock and need new products shots every few months it might be worth your while to learn how to do it yourself. its not that hard. i learnt from watching these..and from general googling. Try these links..

Depending on the number of products (and whether you have the equipment of course), I would highly recommend taking the photographs for yourself.

I only have 3 products, so this is exactly what I did. It took me a couple of hours to get the shots, but I like to think they look pretty professional!

any ideas on how to get rid of the slight washed out effect on these product photos.

some of them have a washed out effect , ????

Is this the kind of change you're looking for Leslie?

It's the lighting that's out.

At a guess, it looks to me like you're overexposing the background too much, which is causing light reflected back into the camera, making the product appear washed out.

Turn the BG lights down a bit, and see what difference that makes.

That sounds like sound advice, will give it a try
