i own a small retail business, and am using worldpay. I think there fees are too high, so maybe looking at moving over to PayPal. Anyone have any experience using PayPal as a provider?

Need quite a bit more info to give you any sensible advice; e.g. what does it need to do functionality wise.

What do you actually need, is it a simple payment system, or in the current climate does it need to support online ordering, or just booking, do you support take-aways, do you need tracking for marketing versus track and trace data etc.

As above there is no one size fits all solution and each provider/system will have their own features and benefits. If you can elaborate and advise your wants and needs then you can probably get some clear recommendations as a result.
