pension plan

Apologies as this is a more of a personal question, but advice much appreciated. I recently discoivered an old pension plan that I had forgotten about. Its value isnt great, but every little helps as they say. My question is can I transfer this fund to a current or savings account where I can access the money. I appreciate that I may have to pay tax on that or is it not possible at all
