Offering accounts on website?

Wedding Heaven

Hello all,

I was just wondering if it was a good idea to offer a trade account with my website to get more sales and obviously help other people into business and such. We offer car stereos and other stuff

Is it a good idea?

Thanks

How would you underwrite the accounts?

what terms would you offer?

As we have only starting to design this and well we run it via the website now just can't access it without our permission.

What do you mean by underwrite the accounts?

Terms are stated on our website but the basics are we deliver straight to your customer so dropship and secure payment. We also offer fast delivery.

The prices depends on the products and can range from say 20 to 170

You should also consider offering a lower rate to dropshippers.

This allows others to sell your products online, you give them a lower rate or trade rate and they pocket the sale difference.

Check out dropshiponline.co.uk as they do this.

Also consider an affiliate program to give people commission for driving sales to your website. take a look at affiliatewindow, affiliatefuture and cj.com as a starting point.

If you can make the margins and system work then good drop shippers are always in demand. The main downside is that you cannot control the retail price by law so you will end up in competition with your own trade customers. However if you get enough return on your dropship service then the potential to increase quickly is there.

I am not a drop shipper myself (well for now anyway) but I do have a lot of experience in this area. I am happy to guide you through the ins and outs if you are serious, send me a pm and we can have a telephone chat.
