not logged in

i go and login and the forum shows me as logged in.
I then write or reply to a post and when finished it says not logged in and i have lost all of what i have written.

is there a time limit on writing? the last one took me 4 mins to write?

Can't solve your problem but this post is on the board as is a post from you in reply to my request for information from folk in the travel industry.

I've experienced the same issue. There must be a time limit, and I'm guessing it's about five minutes. If you take longer than that to compose your message, the behaviour becomes unpredictable; one of three things can happen:

- Your message is posted correctly but you're now logged out.
- Your message is not posted and you're logged out.
- The screen goes funny and freezes and nothing is posted.

If you know you're approaching the time limit, I suggest you select and copy your message before posting it. That way, if it doesn't post correctly, it's easy to recover the situation by pasting the copied text into a new message.

yep, Steve, i shall take a copy of my reply before hitting the old submit button.
