Hi,
I'll be starting a company later this year which will operate on-line only.
The products will be race clothing, so fireproof overalls, gloves , boots etc.
It's difficult to judge how quickly the goods will turnover, and they seem very expensive at other retailers compared to the prices I can buy at.
Is this a case of a very slow turnover within the industry, so the prices are higher ?

The goods have new standards set every 5 or so years by the racing governing body, and development is expensive.

My worry is that if I price the goods too low, there will be a massive initial rush, then nothing at all!

Most drivers will have one set of clothing which is replaced only when the existing regulations are superceded or the item gets damaged.
