Hi

My current host is calling it a day at the end of next month (July) so I will be needing to find another provider to start on the 1st of August. I currently have and will need:

150meg space
25+gig bandwidth
7 Domains all pointing to same site
I use cpanel so would like my new host to use this as I am now used to it.

I prefer to deal with smaller companies whom I can have a more personal approach with like I do with my current host so perhaps someone on here can provide those services or point me in the right direction. If you're interested in my custom please send me some quotes.

I'm not sure if any other details are needed but please ask if you need more info.

25Gb transfer on decent servers in the UK is likely to be around the £10-£20/month mark if not hugely oversold because of the actual costs of bandwidth. Is that what you're actually using or just what your "plan" allows for ?

We don't do cpanel, we offer Direct Admin which (IMHO) is at the very least equal to cpanel.
I'll second that, we have both DA and CPaneml servers and I really prefer the DA panel, unfortunately alot of our clients that have never used DA don't want to switch from CPanel.

One thing I would look for when changing is the support provided in transferring domains name things, files etc. I havent changed yet but the process is daunting to me.

I dont think anybody likes changing suppliers, even for cartridges, because its a lot of hassle, even if the change would benefit you. But in your case its necessary so good luck!

Transferring websites to another server is not too bad, we have done quite a few and 99% result in no downtime at all, the other 1% maybe 1 - 5 hours as dns propogates. Most hosting companies that are worth paying for should be able to do this for you as long as you can provide them with login info for your control panel.
