New Project

Have a new project on the go. First phase about to go live over next few weeksa I want a website for people/readers of my book to go to and register their intrest and give them a few details about whats up and coming the website will then be expanded in the following months but for now I probably just want one or two pages and an auto responder.

Whats the best way to go about this without it looking like a rush job (which it wont be)? its just something for people to see until the next phase and then ill need more pages and on line forum, payment facilities etc

someone to do it for me, maybe be able to give me access so I can make minor alterations as and when they are needed without having to wait for someone else to do it.

So, you need the entire website designed, with a newsletter script so people can register an interest and be sent information?

thats basically it but the website for the time being will be just a welcome page and maybe one other and yes will need a method to take peoles details.

I use 1and1 for my site. They are only hosting but their web packages (form around £6 a month) come with some very simple template websites. If you can use Word, you can get a simple page or two up in about 10 minutes flat.
