New Mortgage Brokerage

Hi, Hope you all are keeping well.

I have been a AR mortgage broker for about 10 years and I have / had CAS from 2 networks, Openwork and Primis.

I have taken a year out and now I am looking to open my own Mortgage Brokerage firm. As I always have been employed before, I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I had decided that I want to go with Primis as the network, after speaking with them and looking at the commission splits / fees etc, but as I have been out of the loop for about 16 months, they need CAS, which apparently mine has lapsed. Is there other Networks that will accept me. And if anyone can help me with what I need to start up, for instance do I need to open a Ltd company?

I have a business plan drawn up and I am pretty confident I will have clients, as I have a loyal base that I have build up over the years, but I think it is time I start on my own.

Thanks a million!

Hi, but it is unlikely you will get through any due diligence with any networks with the Competent Advisor Status.

I just googled and looks like Tenet are open to taking on ARs that need CAS. Don;t know much about Tenet though so not sure if they are suitable for you.
