New member & loving it

I only found this site yesterday and I'm already looking at the paid options.

I like the idea of the top package because there's lots of extras. However I'm a bit confused with things that say you get a free year (online customer chat app was one example). If you renew the subs on UKBF am I to assume you'd get another year free? i.e can these things be free all the time you renew?

Also, I'm a bit concerned that the site is viewable by the public. It kind of made me hesitate to give out too much information. For example, what I don't want to happen is to use business information (web address etc) in this forum and have Google feed it up in customer searches. I'm not sure I like the idea of customers reading all my operational chit/chat on a forum like this.

Aside from that, I'm loving it!

You do not have to post links etc you can be 100% anonymous and post in the members section, it is not viewable unless you are a full member

I'm not a fan of the fact you need to still have 30 posts before being able to link anywhere, even if you are a paid member.

Believe me @cpon this is a fantastic rule! It wipes out maybe 99.99% of the spamming behaviour and whilst it may seem a bit harsh for good members, I don't think 30 posts is a lost to ask. Especially when you consider many will do their own intro post and 3-4 hellos to other new members, that 30 suddenly shrinks to more realistically 25 posts and even then there is little vouching for quality.

Although I heavily suspect there is more behind that number 30 than we realise, maybe 30 is the number that someone reaches and generally stays?

Felt the same until I posted 30 and then changed my thoughts on it. Anything that stops spammers has to be a plus.
