need to create a pdf file

can anyone help me how to create a pdf file from a word document?

I know you can buy the proper adobe pdf writer but is there any cheaper ways? or free?

I ahve photoshop and illustrator but you can only do one page and not a load of pages in one document.

I use free software called pdf955 that creates pdf's from any program has one little pop up just asking to upgrade to the retail version and thats all.

You can do multiple pages in illustrator......thats how we proof all of the catalogue designs for clients

I'd second that - I use PDF995 too you can download it here:

Once you have downloaded all the necessary components you will "pring" your Word Doc but instead of selecting your printer you will have an option to select PDF995 instead.

free to use and download.

go as if to print your document and click on cute pdf very quick very good.

may as well also vote for PrimoPDF but as with any of the PDF printers you need to be a little careful with image quality if you have any embedded images
