Hi

Found a really good tool to create favicons from any image you have, remember they go down to 16x16 so the original graphic needs to be clear. If you don't know what a favicon is, it is the little image you sometimes see in the address bar of your browser, and when you bookmark sites the favicon may appear in the favourites list.

Here it is the link where you can generate these:

Added a £ sign to my www.quote-engine.com site... looks cool

For those of you who frequent forums that allow Avatars and need to resize images suitable for use as an Avatar, you may want to try this free avatar sizing program: Avatar Sizer.

As well as resizing images for Avatars it can also produce images for address book entries, mobile phones, pdas etc. Anywhere where a small image, no bigger than 150x150, is needed.

It was something I put together in a rash moment about 12 months back. It's free and you're very welcome to use it.

Now all we have to do is persuade UK Business & E-Commerce Forums to allow Avatars...
