multiple currencies

I have a small site as an attempt to monetise some of my (and others) artwork.
I am using RBS WorldPay Business Gateway and am currently testing the payments system.
The default page provided by WorldPay includes a dropdown list of currencies.
I am unsure / unclear whether I should have the shopper use this list to purchase in their own currency, or have it set to £.
I am leaning towards having the list present, to provide the comfort factor to the shopper that they can see their own currency, particularly those who think theirs is the only currency.
However, the list does include some pretty obscure currencies and those of my expected target market are therefore rather hidden or low down the list.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Personally I would go with GBP, USD and Euros....that way you offer currency choices and most people around the world who ever make international purchases will be perfectly comfortable with those options. To be honest the only country that you will encounter where a "foreign" currency is an issue will be the US which can be a tad insular at times :)

You will need to speak to Worldpay as you will need separate "accounts" for each currency that you wish to be able to receive payments in. Be aware that there is a charge for this, it's not just a case of customising at your end. Speak to WP, they will sort you out and help you with the integration.
