Hello

Can anyone recommend a good company for short term hire of a mobile card processing machine for using at trade shows etc?

We are members of FSB and it looks like they offer this via 123send but just wondered if there were other options?

Thanks

Your best option for doing shows may be the mpos where you simply download software onto your phone or laptop and can take card payments without the expensive hardware alternative. You will need a merchant account. We have used this system for years for taking card payments at shows. See mpos on youtube for a demo. The firm I use is called Adelante systems.

I've also got a 123send contract but long term. Short term is rather expensive from what I remember. They also do a rolling 1 year contract. You'll need a merchant account which is where your membership with the FSB comes in handy (no set up fee, reduced rates...)

Otherwise, there's chipandpinsolutions and another one I can' remember, it's on the Market Traders Fed website.
