Hi All,

Wondering if any legal types have a view on a problem I'm having...
My landlord wants to sell the property I rent from them...there is no issue with this as I have been assured I can remain until the end of my lease.
But....a large 'For Sale' sign has been put up on my shop with no warning or consultation. This makes it look like my business is closing down....while I still have 16 months left on the lease.
Can I ask / force my landlord to take the 'For Sale' sign down until closer to the end of my lease?
There is a clause in my lease that says I can use the property without any disturbance from the landlord - does a For Sale sign count as disturbance?
Regards

OK - panic over.....
Managed to get hold of our landlords last night, appears they didn't give permission to the estate agent to put a sign up. They told us they'll be on the phone first thing this morning to get it taken down.
Did have a comment from a customer yesterday evening that they were wondering if we were moving or closing....just shows a 'For Sale' sign definitely has a very quick, and completely negative, effect of business.....
