Installing Google Checkout into Zen Cart

Hi All,

I have posed the following question on the Zen Cart forum. I have yet to recieve a reply. I genuinely find the Zen Cart forum frustrating as you wait a long time for any reply at all. Before anybody asks, I have bought the "eBook" and do the read the forums.

As this forum seems to have very friendly bunch people here is my question:

I am using Zen Cart 1.3.8a. I currently have Paypal IPN installed and I have been trying install Google Checkout. Can someone please tell me where I have been going wrong.

I have done exactly the following;

1. Downloaded the zip file for Google Checkout.

2. Unzipping it you get 3 folders (admin, includes and googlecheckout) and a few files (.project, changelog, installation, readme, states, upgrade)

3. I am using File Zilla to upload the files. So, I uploaded the admin folder to admin folder and the includes to the includes folder and the google checkout folder to the main root folder (public_html).

3. Apart from the above I have not done anything. I have logged in to payment modules and cannot see Google Checout there.

I am guesing I have probably missed something or not doing something that is most likely obvious to others.

Can someone please point me in the right direction.

Well I'd log in to your server or get you to send over the affected files then what I think you may have done is copied the folder instead of files, I did the same a while ago and had to have a new installation then realised what I'd done!

Yes, you are right. I have uploaded the folders and not the files. I will delete the folders and upload the files. Thank you for your help and offer. I'll probably be back in touch if I get stuck.

By the way, it worked. Your a star. All I now need to do is work out how to configure it. I'll keep you posted.

Hey buddy I need to know when u uploaded the files using file zilla where did u upload them to exactley co im really lost right now, and i need your help and how can you show the google checkout under the module/payment in the admin can you give me step by step how uve done it or anyone please
