My seller in India has advised me that I need a trade import number and that my company needs to be registered. What is a trade import number- Where do I get it from.? Does he mean VAT registered ?..limited company etc...?
I just want to get some boxes of goods shipped (ocean freight) as DHL etc is expensive for 100kg. As this is a trial run to see how the goods sell I don't necessarily want to set up everything as VAT registered etc. Any advice, Thank you
