Hi there,

I'm thinking of setting up a business selling craft items imported from Japan. I don't have any contacts in the country, and have no idea how to get started. There are certain companies whose products I'm interested in, but their websites are a bit hard to wade through. Has anyone here done any business in Japan and have any advice to give me? Or just any general advice on importing (the legalities and finances of it) will be useful too.

You should do some research about Japan companies which producing such kind of products, IOM, export company should have an english version web site or some one can speak lingua franca.
