Hi All,

If you have noticed yet, we have a post in here from Kona Trade.

Please do not use them, they will scam you from your money and make your first import experience a bad one.

Do date, I have still not found a good honest reliable source for apple goods that are cheap enough for you to make money, so beware if electrical items from china are cheap its because they are either fake or do not exist, especially as China do not make branded electronics.

Importing and Exporting is key to global business.

First you need to decide what you want to buy and sell.
Key criteria to this is size and product value. As you have to pay for sea or air freight along with all of the customs, freight forwarding costs, etc - it makes more economic sense to import/Export small high value goods with a good margin of profit - than big bulky cheap things. Purely because you can pack more on the shipping container. If you do decide to go into it - set your company up and make sure you get an EORI registration number. Check out HM Customs & Excise website for more info. This will prevent any delays getting your goods through the port. Good Luck!

Hello,

I am a new guy on the forum so sorry if I did not right where I need to right.. :)

We are the pheromone sellers in Europe. We sell our products to European countries and here is no problem.

But the question is:

Several days ago I've got an email from China. They wrote that they get interested in some of our products and asked about wholesale prices.

They introduced as a small company, but wrote email from GMAIL. Everything looks strange for gmail, also I think it is much more cheaper to make everything in China, So why they want to import...

Please somebody answer me is it safe to work with China in this way or it is something hidden here. I have never worked with Asia..

I checked on analytics and really something from China was looking at our site at that days. So this is real Chinese. :)

They don't want offer by email and asks to send it by fax..

Sorry for English..

Paulius :)

Hi,

I need help please. Does anyone know how i can get around getting contacts of waste paper suppliers? I have an offer from India and Middle East to act as an agent here in the UK.

There are so many companies dealing in recycling and waste and I dont understand what do they do with all the waste paper that they collect. No one has come back to me so far. Not sure if i have been doing the right thing by sending them enquiries via email or should i be calling them directly. I actually dont want to sound new to them in this business...the fact is i really know very little. But i know that I am good at learning and I surely will pick up a lot once I get my first deal.

Any hints are welcome please...anyone any idea?? Thanks

D S Smith are, I believe, the biggest recycler of paper/board in the UK. They use it to make cardboard. They are a plc so you will find full details on web.
