Hi i'm planning on importing condiments from the carribbean but having trouble finding out if there are regulations around the containers that the products are travelling in?

Also regulations around labelling. Does it have to be labelled/use--by-date before it enters the UK or can I get this done once I've brought the googs in?

thanks

Judge123,

The condiments (sauces) will have to be tested once they enter the UK customs will hold these for at least for a few hours/days to make sure that they are good to use or re-sell. Importing condiments can be a little bit of a mind field.

As for labelling they will have to be labelled before they enter the UK or customs will pull it and not release your goods.
