Import Help, tax and customs

Hi Guys

Im looking for a bit of help, ive just made and order for USB PEN DRIVES to the value of 1620USD, from China.

Im importing into the UK, could anyone give me any advise as to the expenses i might incur, i understand i should have done this research prior to my order but any way any help would be great.

There may be import duty (Contact HMRC National Advice Service (NAS) 0845 010 9000 who should be able to advise on the rate or how to find out what rate is applicable if any.

There will also be VAT payable on import at 17.5%, recoverable if you are VAT registered.
