How to take payment for an agency website

Hi everyone! Had some great replies so far and I really appreciate all the help received so far! My next question:

I am setting up an agency where the workers will receive 80% of the fee and us the agency 20%. How can I take payment from customers and then pay my staff?

I am currently building a website, is there a way people can pay me online? As each job will have different price ranges is it possible for them to enter in the amount (quoted to them in an email) along with their card details and pay like that? Or are there better more efficient ways to do so?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

A PayLink would probably be your best option if you are quoting in an email as you can generate an individual link for each client with the amount pre-defined. This would take them to a secure payment page to enter their card details. If you go for a hosted PayPage then card data collection/storage won't be your concern as this is handled elsewhere on PCI compliant servers.

In terms of splitting the payment, that might be something you need to do manually after receipt depending on the terms of any provider's agreement.
