Help with shopping carts

We are a very small business and have only been trading since September. We currently use paypal for shopping cart, but find it very limiting. We are looking for something easy to use and doesn't cost a lot. My husband is a programmer so it doesn't need to be easy to set necessarily just easy for customers to use.

Can anyone recommend anything for us?

osCommerce seems to be one of the most popular choices for people .. perhaps because it is free!
You can also download a lot of difference plugin modules, one of which is PayPal ... but make sure you have the business PayPal account to use it so that it does the "callabck" to the shop marking the order as paid (I lost a few orders myself by not realising this).
