Help with Poundlines (food) Wholesaler

We are starting a pound only store and are struggling to find suppliers for food items that can be sold in a pound store, for a pound or less. So we are looking for wholesaler for items like canned foods, biscuits, sweets, cakes, tea, drinks, snacks and crisps etc that can be sold in pound only shop.

We have found wholesalers for poundlines for non food items, but we are really struggling to find for one for food items. Any suggestions will be most appreciated .

go to Tesco, but their value products (usually under £1), repackage it and sell

Thats mainly because Most Poundlines in food are bought from companies which buy from companies with little sell by dates. This is going to be a struggle but you'll never compete with the supermarkets own value range with is so cheap its unreal when compared to braded items.

Your best bet is if you still want to do poundlines in food is go to your local cash & carry and buy their cheap stuff, but your going to struggle buying brand names for pennies
