Help selecting invoice/account management software

Hi,

Just wondering what you guys use for invoice/quote/account management software.

Ideally I'd like to be able to send/save invoices from within the software and be able to discount invoices by a percentage that will differ with each customer account, reports would also be nice.

Any recommendations would be great!

I use Accounts Portal for invoicing works very well for me but I have relatively simple invoicing requirements - mainly automated monthly invoices sent by email and one-off invoices via email.

Hi Gideon,

All online accounting packages have a free trial period. Spend half a day trying some of them : set up a few products and customers, raise a couple of invoices and run a standard report. If you are planning to do the invoicing yourself, it is important that the system is right for you and not what others recommend. By testing you will quickly find out which package suits you most.

The discount % per customer might be the only issue.

As above, play with the trials and see what's what.

I know it's not that popular on the forum but Sage Instant or Sage 50 offer discount percentages per customer...

Have a look at Kashflow which I think lets you can set discounts by customer.

Is the online software secure? Is there no risk, that some company can check my documents?
