Hello all,
my name is Dave and I manage a company which supplies products & services to the public and private educational sector - namely photography and graphic design.
Over the last few years we have found the marketplace particularly hard and although we are continuing to stay dynamic to it and innovate its not easy.
I have been given a (side) project over the winter whilst we have been quiet to develop an eCommerce store selling children's and family lifestyle products. I was involved in this sector many years ago in a retail environment before eCommerce was as big as it is now! However the 2008 downturn and a change in circumstances meant a move away from this area.
We now feel that it is a worthwhile area to develop and enter back into and we hope to alleviate some of the financial pressure on our quiet times whilst continuing to provide jobs locally.
I hope from joining this site to gain some valuable experience and help others along the way!
