Have to login manually each time. Bug?

I have to login with username and password each time I visit UKB - even after half an hour. I make sure the 'remember these login details' box is ticked, so I don't know why this is the case.

I belong to over 15 webmaster forums and don't have to manually login each time to any of them. Hence I imagine there is a problem at UKB Forums end - or some setting on PC?

Am using IE 6 on Windows MX.

Hi there,
I had the same prob recently and Ozzy advised deleting all the UKBF cookies. It worked for me!

You need to set up UKBF as an allowed site in your internet options. Tools, options, privacy then type in ukbf url and click 'allow'. This will enable you to login and stay logged in.

Its a cookie issue to do with
http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/
and
http://ukbusinessforums.co.uk/

If you visit via both (or follow a link to another thread etc) you get 2 cookies.

At least thats what I think happens.

Delete cookies is the fix.

Yep, go into your computer and remove the cookies, it worked for me too.

Next time you get 'chucked out' perhaps I could help re-boot you and login? I have a good network adaptor if you like sharing :wink:
