Just noticed that Google UK has now publicly launched their Google local search (Find local businesses and services on the web) with a link from the google.co.uk home page. You can try it out (and if applicable see if your business is listed) at:

If your business is not listed you may need to submit it to Yell.com™

Thanks for pointing that out. Had not got around to putting an entry on Yell.com since decided not to renew premium listings that never generated much custom.

The free service tied into google is worth having me thinks.
