Morning all
I’ve signed up for a fundraising event in an effort to raise funds for a very important charity, Prostate Cancer UK. For a bit of context as to why I’m doing this particular event, in September 2019 my uncle died after a long battle with cancer which began in his prostate and eventually took over. My uncle was the one who taught me how to play golf as a teenager, and I remember him telling me he would make a golfer out of me someday….I’m still by no means a golfer now but he tried his best!
So, myself and a team of my friends are looking to raise £4,000 as a team, participating in Prostate Cancer UK’s Big Golf Race half marathon, playing 2 back to back rounds on the 26th of September. See the link below, this is a call out mostly to the regular members who know me to see if anyone would like to contribute to a great cause.

Prostate Cancer is now the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, killing one man every 45 minutes in the UK. That’s the same time it takes to play three holes of golf.
That’s why I'm golfing the distance and taking on The Big Golf Race, to keep men in the game for longer.
The money raised by this challenge will help fund research into life-saving treatments for prostate cancer and provide practical support to men and their families.
