Embarrasing moments - Silly summer thread..

One of the first things I was told as a young Pup going out selling:

' This job gives you unrivalled opportunity to make a t*t of yourself - and you will be surprised how often you do...'

I have several instancces from both myself & my colleagues - to get the ball rolling.

I was in a very large, sumptious office of a potential customer. He was being very unforthcoming about everything - right down to what the company actually did. When he was called out of the office, I took it upon myself to shuffle through papers on his desk to find out more. I looked up to see I was being watched by CCTV! The appointment soon ended & I wasn't invited back!

I'd love to hear some of yours....

Ha! Little bit harsh.

I used to work in an office with a tiny EPOS room with a real loud computer in there. Whenever we went in there it was so loud we could barely hear ourselves, so me and my co-worker often went in there to gossip or tell each other exciting news. The office got a bit busy one day so we snuck in there to discuss events (of a rather explicit nature)... we came out and everyone was giving us odd looks.

We didn't realise that although we couldn't hear ourselves, people could hear perfectly outside. Bad times!

Well that's certainly lightened the mood! However if you look at the thread title, it is supposed to be uplifting - you can find lots of sanctimonious threads elsewhere...
