Email Account

I have an email account i bought through servwise, but have it pointed at site from www.corecommerce.com.

I want to get an email account set up for the website, but since its not hosted with servwise they cant help, i cant get it from corecommerce, is there any other options to getting an email account.

When you say you bought an email account, do you mean domain name? You can't buy an email service with servwise if it's not hosted with them.

You'll have to host the domain somewhere (the dns at least) but if you don't know what's going on you might be as well getting a cheap hosting account and using all its dns services. (eg domain forwarding, email forwarding etc).

Yes, you need to get Web hosting account with webspace and control panel allowing you to create email accounts. After this you just need to point your DNS for the domain to the server your account is hosted on, so that you email start working from your hosting providers server.

i asked the online chat person at servwise, was there any options with them to get email, i asked could i pay, if the person had mentioned buy hosting and do email that way, i would have agreed.
