Hi,
My small business is set in UK, and very soon I will run a crowdfunding campaign very soon. I need some advice on how to handle VAT.
I've been researching for a few weeks about this topic, and I think I have a clear picture of what I need to do, but I would like to speak with someone about this.
I am preparing myself if I found in this situation:
- My business is set in UK. It's not VAT registered, as right now I don't need to.
- On my Kickstarter Campaign, I will offer digital goods around the world. I know Kickstarter doesn't take VAT; that is the reponsability of the creator.
- I might have some backers ("customers") in EU and UK.
So I understand two things, I will have to register for VAT in UK and for a non-Union Moss in Ireland, for example.
So I would like someone who helped me to understand all of this.
