Ebay Payment Issues

Is anyone else experiencing problems with customers paying on ebay?
I have a few people not being able to pay at all and a couple of people with payments showing as pending on their account.

Frustrating is an understatement!

I presume you mean when using PayPal. Have the customers queried this with PayPal? Could eBay have put a hold on your account due to the introduction of a new product or change in their policy for the sectors you cover?

Yes, when they are trying to pay through paypal. Customers have queried it with ebay and paypal and they just blame each other for the issues.

What is so strange is that it is an intermittent problem, I can have 10 orders that go through fine but the 11th encounters an error and then the next ten will go through fine. A quick google search shows that I'm not the only one suffering these problems.

I recently didn't receive an item I bought from eBay (Chinese seller) - I just realized it has taken a few weeks to arrive so decided to contact the seller. And the Seller said they were going to give me a refund, but it hasn't happened. So I decided to get my refund via Paypal - as it was the method of payment. To my surprise, I can't see any recent activity, and I have bought a few things in the past couple of weeks/months, all of them paid via Paypal.
