What do you guys think of the idea of dropshipping art work, mostly in niche categories?

Would I need to tell the artist I'm dropshipping?

If your wondering why I'm opening so many threads with different ideas it's because I'm trying to find the most viable option alongside trying to get myself to take the plunge int some business avenue.

You do know how many 'art' businesses there are that sell art all day long..right?

and what do you mean by 'art'?

Originals? Prints? Imported? British?

The world of art is a subject in itself and I don't think it works to 'dropship' it to people as you can already buy cheapy art in Wilkinsons for a fiver or for more exclusive original works you'd be looking at £800 a piece minimum and the client would expect to come and pick the piece up in person, from a gallery. imo.

Canvas art to start with.

Original on subjects that are British and non-British that are not the typical piece of art you see.

I won't be trying to sell cheap art, there are many artists who offer delivery.

I could start with art from uk and then move onto import which would widen the scope.
