Do we need a new feature on the UKBF?

Some of you may know that I use the Shell Livewire forum as well as this one, so I am used to all the threads being on the same page.

Whilst separating the forum into categories is very useful, and in many ways necessary, it can also be very frustrating.

Over at Shell all I have to do it click the refresh button and I can see all the new posts that have been made.

Over here I mainly use the General Business, Internet and Time Out forum. Wouldn't it be good if we had icons going down the side of each forum directing us straight to another one. This would save the hassle of going backwards and forwards every two minutes.

Any thoughts? Is this possible? It would make life alot easier!

You can look at "today's posts" you can find it by 'quicklinks' at the top towards the right

or just hit the new posts button - can do it every 10 seconds if you want

That would help, but if I wanted to go from say the Internet forum to Time out I would have to click on several different links. Surely it's better to have an icon on the Internet forum which will direct me straight to any other forum I wish to view.

The above buttons bring up for all the forums not individual ones and so is the same as livewire

It may be a "nice idea" to be able to set preferences as to which forums the results are brought up from however I cannot remember seeing this as an add on to vBulletin
