I've been using this forum for a few weeks and surely I must have posted over 15 posts by now. Are only paid members entitled to links in their signature? Is there some time limit such as 30 days before BBCode links is enabled?

Thanks Ray, that thread explained a lot. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think it's right for forums to charge money to let you have a link in your sig. After all, if it wasn't for all the users posting entries then there'd be no forum.

I can see your point and I agree in regards to the forum but if there was more beneficial features I would be quite happy to pay for it.

I think you will find that most of the longer standing members and regular contributors see the value in paying for full membership and the additional benefits it delivers.

Of course you dont have to pay, it depends on how you view value for money

I understand your point Hobbit but it's a simple fact that the forum has running costs which need to be met. At 10p a day it seems a reasonable amount to pay for the extra functions in my opinion.

I think you will find, if you stick around, that this forum is more of a community, where members get advice, support and encouragement. They get exposure for their business through contributing to the threads not by having links in their sigs.
