Distributor Vs Manufacturer

Hi All

we sell item A but sometimes we sub contract a company in China to make custom Item A's for us (They have our name on them, made to our specification.) and then sell them as our own products.


So what are we officially?

Any help gratefully received.

I would class a manufacturer as someone who is responsible for the manufacturing process wherever they choose to have a product made.
