I thought I'd just share this nugget as I had all kinds of problems getting tracking information I'd been given, to provide me with any information.

If you get a MAWB (Master Air Way Bill) reference this will not resolve to any tracking information as it's for a bulk load of packages that seem to be going all over the shop. Instead you want the AEI reference which is actually known as the DGF (DHL Global Forwarding) HAWB (House Air Way Bill).

You can then track your parcel by going to this link:
http://www.dhl.co.uk/en/logistics/c...eight_tracking_and_applications/tracking.html

...and inputting the AEI/HAWB reference (one at a time) to get the tracking info.

Hope that saves someone else the task of trying to glue hair back in after failing to find this information.. ;)

Thanks for that, Im sure some of us will find that useful.

We stopped using DHL some time back & this was one of the many reasons.
Everything seemed to be so complicated & long winded

It really took some work & hours when we first started to figure out how to use thier website.
Customers also found it really hard to track parcels as there were so many options on the DHL website & most ppl are very usure which bit relates to them

For such a big company you would think they could get these things right
